Okay guys i'm fed up. I am totally fed up with all this buzz about purchased links and their impact on your Google SERP. For some reason ones are saying that paid links are useless while others say that they not are and continue to buy them. Being an effective SEO for already 5 years i believe i know the answer. And it is just as simple as all genue things: You MUST control your backlinks! Especially if you buy them. If you ask me why, let me show you just a faction of reasons why you must control your backlinks so they will positevly affect your Google search position: 1. Your backlink is not indexed by Google 2. Link seller removed your link after a month or two while you purchased for a year 3. Link seller placed too many links on the page with your backlinks. Like when he sold he tells you that it will be no more than 20 outgoing links but after some time ou can see 50 or even more links on the page where your purchased one. 4. Your link anchor looks spammy in Google eyes. You must control your anchor texts so they will help and won't be spammy. 5. Pkae with your links lead to "bad" sites. Like porn/warez/gambling and other sites with illegal content. I've shown you just couple or reasons why you backlink can be devalue by Google. Since you have 100's or 1000's (like i do) paid/traded backlinks it's obvious that you just can't controll them... manually. I've made a list that can help you to control your backlinks. If you will have a look at Are paid Links Evil in Real ? You will be able to know that best links are not paid, or exchanged. Google hate links made to pass some PR !!
