Not all of them are worth to be paid. You may consider this list - Strongest Directories I would recommend you to stick with authority and old aged directory personally. Here is a few Joeant/Yahoo/BOTW/Skaffe/Business.com
Actually they sell something that you could on yourself. They simply gather all the lists, directories and search engines that there are, make a simple software so that it could automatically submit an url to all of them and then sell it...If you don't have what to do with your moes, then buy one
When it comes to paid directories, the primary player in the game is still Yahoo Directory. Purchasing a listing in the yahoo directory will set you back a couple hundred bucks (actually, $299 as of right now), but if you get listed, the link credibility will be worth the money spent.
http://www.avivadirectory.com/strongest-directories/ this list has not been updated since long... there are many directories, you can search various paid directory list sites. e.g. www.directorycritic.com www.directoryrate.com - not updated since long www.paiddirectorylist.com www.best-web-directories.com etc..
I would have to disagree. There are some very strong paid directories that have standards, truly edit submissions and try to be resourceful to visitors.
I completely agree with you snowbird, don't mind the opinion of noobs., Yahoo, BOTW and other paid directories are worth every penny spent.
which free directories does : link building promote their site does designing work for their site - infact i see many free dirs don't even change the default "phplinkdirectory" logo approves the link ONTIME cares that link goes in appropriate categories cares that no bad neightbourhood links are there if you find such, then worth submitting... BTW pagestrength tool is gone
Probably this person is just saying this to increase his post count Anyway, this is a directory list I especially like.
Well, maybe. I'm in the first 2 and others, but I don't get a whole lot of traffic from any directories, these included.
Wow, I checked out the list of paid directories. Could you imagine actually paying for all that. That's a lot of money to get traffic to your site. I'm going to stick with free ways to promote my sites.
The directory list on Aviva is very old and many directories there arent half as strong as they used to be then. But I do agree with your reference to 5 other directories.
