Why page impressions differ

    I have a doubt....about page impressions

    i put 2 ad units in my all pages....

    from my yesterdays reports...
    I use statcounter on my pages...
    yesterday, my total pageviews are 6000+

    But my adsense pages impressions are high....17000+
    Why it differs..?
    What is the problem?
    Did any body use my adsense code on their websites??

    Pls... spend ur time and reply pls

    Adsense displays more than 1 ad to each viewer. Depending on which type you display and how many relevent ads google has to display each viewer could see 12 ads per page view if you displayed 3 add units. With 2 each user could see upto 8 ads.

    But...
    I set a url channel for my site...like www.mysite.com
    through channel stats....
    the page impressions are... 7000+ total confusion
