Why only google traffic?

i agree that google is the biggest search engine, but you can't assume that 95% of the world searches are made on google. Search engines rank websites differently, i heard that msd likes new websites, probably most of you are ranking well in google is because when you optimized your website you used as reference search engine optimization guides for google.

What title is more interesting, "Rank top 3 in google" or "rank top 3 in msn".

 

Its GREAT that 95% of the taffic from Google. Now u can optimize with Yahoo. Yep bt Mejority audience preffered to use Google in their Searching. Bt now yahoo is also in demand like Google. Yahoo is providing so many placement to submit our site so also u can use from them.

Any site should receive some traffic from yahoo and msn\live, so such state of affairs very suspicious.

 

I will find another way to regain my SERP.

 

90% of my visitors came from Google also, when come to use search engine whats comes up in user's mind is "G O O G L E". Also from the word of mouth, "need to search for something go Google it"...

So I think is important to optimize your site for google.

 

I love Yahoo... "untapped" and a much higher chance of getting top of page 1 results

 

It's not bad if majority of your traffic comes from google. A lot of webmasters did their best in order to gain more traffic from google.

 

I think a lot of it is relative to your keywords and target audience. Forgetting SERPS for a minute, we've run the same ads in the same positions on Google vs the others and the traffic is probably about 1/10th to 1/12th at best for the other two combined. I think it depends on your target market - consumer vs business, and other similar factors.

95% is good, you can get very high CTR from that. If you get many direct traffic, your CTR from PPC advertisement will be much lesser. About baidu, who would optimize chinese site except chinese people themselves? It's not related to topic. About Yahoo, I agree that some keywords are doing well there. But only some, most of niche keywords in yahoo are nothing compared to google traffic.

 

Well, Try to loved Google and you will hate yahoo in the sense of traffic.

In Reality Google Dominates the whole Web, So as a Webmaster you will target SE that you can benefit right...
