Well people think when we have legitimate docs; there is no need of worrying about limitation. This is NOT true all times. Even after I provide all genuine legitimate docs with verified PAN (what else they can think even after of providing legitimate PAN/CC (scnanned) and Bank Account belongs to same person) they simply said "After reviewing your account, we have decided to close it because of security issues." Only mistake I made was using VCC generated from my own Bank Account. Anyways thats a legally RBI accepted one, which was generated using my own HDFC bank NetSafe.

What I mean, PayPal never bothers your concerns but only believe in their Systems rudely without any excuse. You may be the victim many times whenever their system detects some thing fishy but in reality its not (Ex: 1. VCC generated from your own bank ac 2. some one else (ur brother or family member/friend) quoted ur PAN then updated to different one 3. You have used paypal 4 to 5 yrs back and now, you try to create new one (it happened with my friend)).

Here the sad part is; they dont limit your account immediately but after few days it happens many times. It really hurts esp when your money stuck with them.

Actualy limiting for life time is something rude when you were limited because of their sensitive non-human system faults. Dont think such situation don’t arise for you. Hundreds are there to worry at least for some time, because of PAN number enhancement introduced lately. Genuinely speaking how many have thier exact names in their PAN and Bank and CCs. I believe its rude. You may think PayPal must want to maintain safe network, then even VISA and MC are in business and are equally maintaining privacy after after their Verified by Visa and Verified By Master Card introduced.

Its all because PayPal wants to reduce its burden by avoiding issue resolution at the cost of customer convenience. Anyways they are getting business as the internet usage growing day by day.

I am sure today or tomorrow PayPal is going to limit thousands more when RBI says Aadhar is mandatory for bank accounts. So guys Be sure to start practicing (not just looking for) alternates from now.

All these problem arises due to RBI interference and People are suffering, Not RBI and not even Paypal care about this. Rudeness is in every corporate sectors now days its even left behind Govt. Sectors in India. And about the VCC Paypal cause trouble with this, paypal not like VCC it reduce their secure side. You can see many complaints about fraud with people.

Always remain polite when contact with them aggressiveness cause trouble because you can not force anyone what to do?
In most cases it happens when someone not get desired result.

So contact with them again and ask them what you did wrong so you can correct it and it will not happen again.
    May be they listen.

    Goodluck

It happens some time. It would be always good to have a back-up. I have seen many sites as of now which are as good as Paypal

    Paypal Alternatives

I sincerely request to all think twice before going with ONLY PayPal. Just because PayPal is enjoying monopoly one need not listen to them always. In reality they are extremely rude. I am not talking about their behavior during their conversation. Its their acts. The way they put on limit with out revealing the reason what they found.

When they stated "For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review
accounts for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have
decided to close it because of security issues."
about my account, when I repeatedly called them the maximum info they passed to me is "They observed some unusual activity on my credit card" What the hell is that? I have every transaction on that card and its hardly used. When I asked for how much amount my card is been used for such suspicious activity. There is no answer. Only one answer they have to say "observed some unusual activity on my credit card". God only knows what unusual activity could happen with out affecting any of its transaction. They are clue less which transaction or period that unusual activity happened.

Any financial institute can ban any of their customers. But they should state which made them to ban or punish. Simply if they say "some unusual activity in your account", then what is the guarantee that the same can not happen to any oneelse in the customer group?

Recently many observed how PayPal system (I am not just saying their servers or code, system includes their business procedures) has failed Indian PAN cards at one streatch. Some are banned indefinitely and few could enter same PAN on multiple accounts(its accepted for some but not all. I dont understand why). Few could even enter junk characters in that field and still its considered valid PAN (TRUST ME I KNOW people who entered others PAN still their accounts perfectly allright). Its all a big mess. Because every one knows what is their right PAN no, many could realize the stupidity of PayPal system in just validating one field. Now GOD only knows how far PayPal is correct when limiting people.

I strongly wish at least few more like PayPal should come to India as soon as possible (Big guys like Google Checkout). I am not saying Google wont behave like that. But I am sure they justify at least from their side stating the activity which they think its fraudulent. After all when PayPal or Google establishes an office here in India, they should not be any more, more or less than any other financial institute running in India.
