Why oh why, doesn't google just ban you if you nochache?

    Bob,

    Do you have any idea why this would be happening? Even if they found them via links, most of the time they will display all the necessary information.

    I would guess not unless they are cached. That is why I said that in my opinion if a site is not in the cache -- unless it has been specifically denied -- it is not truly in the index.

    Now we get into a debate on what "the index" means, because obviously on the ffshrine.org pages Google knows they exist or else the would not be able to do the truncated listing. However the fact that they are not in the cache and do not get a normal listing would lead me to believe they are not in what we would normally think of as "the index".
