And by long I mean something like this: http://www.modestapparelchristianclothinglydiaofpurpledressescustomsewing.com/ LOL! Well at least it's a .com but in this case it doesn't matter. And just look how it displays on Alexa: http://alexa.com/data/details/traff...nclothinglydiaofpurpledressescustomsewing.com This is certainly not a business card friendly domain... Or Tshirt friendly, or email address friendly... *ahem* Yeah drop me an email.. my email is soandso (at) modestapparelchristianclothinglydiaofpurpledressescustomsewing.com Oh man. Somebody showed me this and I just had to post it.
If you want people to remember you and your website, its best to go for a small name, thats where brandability comes into play, you can rank well for ANY keyword with ANY domain, and thats where comes the SEO part. I haven't SEO'ed my site Correctus.com but as you can see its perfectly brandable and I'm using it as my company name, nobody is ever gonna have any problems remembering it. Or to give you a better example, how about Adidas? Adidas doesn't mean Sports Apparel, its actually similar to Adios but either ways its pretty successful, therefore I always recommend people go for brandability over keywording. IT
