I wish you the best of luck with them.. I have never seen a single person who was happy with their service.

Obviously big companies stay with them because its all about exposure. For the rest of us, its a different story.

oh yeah.... only 1 year of PPC and 10 years of IYP and you already have a lot of stories to tell! Hey.... wonder how many of the millions that advertise in the YP print and YP online you actually know. Your "testiment" to the value of something with no real consideration to the massive amounts of businesses out there is totally off the wall!

you are right.... as i said before.... Real Estate agents = Good
BBQ online sellers = probably bad !

    Common sense here again ;)

Nobody is going to kill the thread or vote you red.

That was a reference to a former member here known for his debating skills. DP is one of the few forums where you won't be censored.

The other side of that coin though is if you're only interest is to post sales mumbo jumbo then you may be called on it ;)

This is a forum where people post their experiences..Seems more people would actually be talking about your PPC if it lived up to the standards you are proposing.

Its all about Price per conversion and in my experience Overture and AdWords outperform you by a longshot.

If I was advising a client on where to spend their money, I would go to the big two. Then if they had a little money left over to experiment, maybe I would advise they give your PPC a try. I have seen the question of "Are they good?" coime up time and time again.

Each time all the responses have been negative as far as value for money which coincides with my own experience.

I don't have to know every person using the program to have that opinion.

By the way, you are backing off your position quite a bit now. It wasn't an hour ago that you were saying your service will replace or at least take a huge chunk out of Google's market share.

Its good to see that you are at least now admitting that your PPC MAY be effective for some industries.

no .... we are still doing more for local search conversion than SEO's... Google is an SEO... the only thing that makes them unique is they are not a content provider.

still...... Google has relationships with us. as far as market share... those that search google for info.... still search google... those that need a local business to supply products and services will continue to search superpages and yellowpages.com and smartpages etc. It is just that superpages.com has a PPC option... others dont.

    Does this make sense?

I have to say you are one of the better "ad" posters. I figured you would have given up by now.

I still think you shouldn't be taking the approach that you are an alternative and you should dump the stats and newspaper articles.

The only thing that people care about is delivering sales. I still don't agree that your service does that but I suppose we can agree to disagree. I have no doubt that Verizon rakes it in but I don't believe they give value for money when it comes to PPC.

Ragardless, Im off to hit the links to try to squeeze in 18 before it gets dark.

I am sure Verizon makes plenty... but so does Google and Overture....

everyone has there horror stories to tell.... don't they..

Verizon PPC doesnt have as many..... maybe you can attribute that to the fact that PPC has been around with Verizon since last year... but the fixed fee advertising has been around since 96'!

Why are you skeptical.... why do you think it doesnt/won't work?

I read an article on businessweek today about Superpages VS Overture and Google. I think superpages have an edge because they have so many sales rep, they got plenty cash to burn and they are trying to be marketing company for all small business and they have lots of experience. Now would people go to google or yahoo or superpages.. may be they will do someday.

It doesn't sound like you are convincing anyone that you can drive 10% of the traffic we get from AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing. How about doing what Google and Yahoo do and offer a $50 new account credit so that we can try your services?

Sounds like a fair way to test drive your offering.
