Since it's an seo blog, most probably those that visited are those people who are knowledgeable in adsense as well. In other words, they know how to differentiate between ads and links to some other pages.

Its because eveyone is sick of google ads and the sites they lead to, they are not good enough to have their own ranking in search engines and need to get customers by advertising, AND the only reason for the ad is to get people to part with their cash, Most of the sites from google ads have very little content, lots of them are huge one page sites which go on and on about a product, people have got wise to this and dont bother clicking anymore, because they are looking for information on the net, not looking to buy anything, eg your site is about SEO, theres a google ad Does Your Pagerank Suck ?

You click on it and get some rubbish directory submission service,

anyone with half a brain knows that these services NEVER EVER WORK, WHY because they submit using the same decription everytime, which is seen as promotion spam, 100 links to your site appear in a few weeks all with the same description.

The next one is free SEO Videos, which leads to Aaron "I know nothing about SEO but will take your money and baffle you with 100's of pages of SEO techniques when SEO can be explained in one sentence" Wall's pathetic SEO book website

The next one is Guaranteed SEO Results which leads to as SEO company , DERRRR< if they were any good at SEO why the ... do they need to use adwords, they should be first in google

HEY I've just made you about 30 cents !!!

Ultimately it isn't even the clicks that are important, it is the high paying key words that are. 1 click worth 1 dollar is much better than 100 worth 1 cent each.

As already said, webmasters know all about Adsense, so they wont click them. Do you click on Adsense ads? I dont.
You need a niche where people are more likely to click on the ads. Do some research.;)

Yeah... We webmasters know the ads and wont click them. I, personally simply ignore them.
But try to put an ad between every 5th post, and then make some thin link labels (think they're 20px height or something??).
