Hi all, I have been running coop for almost 2 weeks now and have 3 active banner in my account (2 graphic and 1 text). Only 1 graphic banner is giving me stats on a daily basis. The other 2 banners have empty stats. Is there a reason for this? I have put extra weight on my text banner also as I would like this one displayed more....but it is giving no stats. Any suggestions? Also, I have placed my coop adds right at the bottom of my site (in footer...so on every page) as I am still testing to see if this system is worth while to give the adds poll possition....if it works well and brings me trafic then I am happy to put the adds further up the page. So question 2: Is there an advantage at the moment for me putting the adds further up the page? will it give me a higher weight? No ad location does not affect weight. As far as Stats, what is your weight? If it is very small you may not have enough impressions to show up (ie. Your ads are showing on one site which has no traffic)
well, my overall weight is 70 (i'm just getting started remember). One banner is showing 2-4 impressions per day....nothing to get excitted about ....I have placed 50% weight on my text add though (which has no stats...no impressions so far)....so the 2 banner adds have 25% each. Should I maybe work on getting my weight up!? ..... Is it possible to get 100's on add impressions through this network? If so....whats the most important path I should take to achieve this? thanks!
Impressions fluctuate and are never constant. Yes, 100's, even 10,000's are possible with enough weight. I think your problem is weight - 70 is prettly low, although it's a start. You can increase your weight by running up to 5 ads per page, or getting more pages indexed by google. Good luck.
ok, thanks for the reply. So, I am running 5 ads per page already (5 links in a horizontal direction). Actually...you meen 5 ad links not 5 ad blocks with 5 ad links in each block right? I have this code in my site footer...so it appears on every page. Will my weight increase if I place the code in different files...so my main content pages for example...instead of only in footer?
