Get like 20+ hops everyday on average, but cant get a single sale yet. What am I gonna do?I'm going to lose my motivation for such a long time without any result. You guys have any good suggestion for me?What niches convert well with low competition?Help me if you can, thank you!
Where's your traffic coming from? Is it well targetted? Is the sales/pitch page good? All questions you need to ask yourself
I built a site(just like a simple review site on the niche),and submit to site directories,I believe the traffic is coming from there.I get hops, that means visitors clicked the link but they didnt make a purchase, its on the vendors' pages where they make the purchase that I can do nothing to make the pages pretty. By the way,how do you choose a niche that's popular but with low competition?
Every niche is popular. Remember, your potential market is the entire internet. This is why going for high gravity is always a mistake. Go for something with some gravity e.g. 10, but not too much. This way there'll be less competition but still millions of potential customers. If you have had 500 hops and no sales then perhaps you are mis-pre-selling???
Don't lose motivation. Try harder and you'll succeed. I promoted a product for one whole month and got over 700 hops but no sales. The next month I made over 15 sales so just be patient and try hard. You will surely make some money.
I'm promoting relationship&dog training ones. It's also been almost one month since I started.Everyday I check the statistics, only see hops increase but 0 sale!I'm wondering if my niches are not good enough or something like that. But thanks so much for your encouragement.I wont quit but look for some advice from you guys.
I too struggled for the past two months. I promoted my affiliate site on 20 traffic exchange sites, two viral marketing sites, 15 free classifieds, 15 forum sites, google base, google and yahoo groups, twitter, facebook, squidoo lens, ezinearticles, also 20+ PTR sites. Finally, after two months, within this week, I made 9 sales. Today, I made another 3 sales. Those sales came from mainly PTR, viral marketing sites and forum sites. I have been clicking ads and viewing ads that come to my mail box daily (atleast 400 mails daily) and got good earnings and points, then converted those earnings and points for placing my affiliate site banner on each page (top) of all my PTR sites. I have not spent any single cent to market my site (100% free). From my very own experience, putting a banner on top of each page of PTR sites is the most effective way to get sales and secondly, viral marketing. Hope my message helps you. ALL THE BEST and BE PATIENT - Do not give up - the moment you give up is the moment your failure starts.
You don't want to give me specific names of the products? I'm not familiar with your niche at all, but if you are getting the amount of hops you're getting, well it's time to scrap the products. Make sure you actually know something about the niche you're in. People need to trust YOU before they can trust the product. How are you building rapport with your potential customers?
Thank all of you guys. You're so nice to encourage me! I did tell that my niches are relationship and dog training products.Maybe they're not popular lately. Would you mind telling what you're promoting?
Hang in there, I suggest you use conversion tracking if you're not already doing so, and make sure you're sending targeted traffic to your hoplinks, no BS traffic. I'm finally after 1 year seeing sales come in, dont give up!
if you are not preselling well enough, sale conversions might be very low. Targetting has to do with it also, are you attracting people that want free info, or search for final review/proucts to buy. If you are not a great preseller you could try ppc or free leads, these are often easier to convert and will motivate you better to go on
I'm going to be with article marketing, but I dont know what niches' articles are popular and earn more views and clicks. Can you guys give me some advice? Thanks.
wscn....you just concentrate on directories and to increase your traffic.....This will increase your interest .....4 sure...
So...what products are you promoting? Maybe one of us here can actually take a look at the sales copy of the vendors site and see if it's good. Maybe the vendor itself is your problem.
Those things happens. You have to stick around for a long period of time. When sales start coming, you will be making lots of them.
I'm promoting a relationship product:http://lonelinesstohappiness.com Will use article marketing method, any good suggestions guys?
