I called Google support on this and got nothing from the lower levels of the feed chain to answer the question but I wanted to know why, after I had earned some income from Google (which they hang on to until it reaches $100). they didn't let me immediately spend that to purchase traffic with it from Adwords? Doesn't it make sense to do that? For example, suppose I earn $20 this month - wouldn't it make sense to enable me to blow the $20 on Adwords and more traffic immediately? Instead, they tie up the money I earned and make me cough up a pre-paid amount for Adwords. I'm trying a new thing on my site and paying for sales of paid links but I remembered this issue so I am making sales income available to offset any costs (such as hosting or paid link purchases).
Good point, I wondered the same thing, sure would make my accounting easier, but then again, it would not make it easier for Google, so I suspect that is the reason. I would think they want to keep them separate since not everyone uses both adsense and adwords together. Good luck to all, Mike
I was thinking it might be that people would realize how much more it costs to get traffic compared to how much money they get for sending it?
What happens when you get banned for invalid clicks and you already used his adsense money for adwords? Google should repay the original adwords advertiser and should take back the money from the publishers who clicked on your ads. Imagine all the moaning from the adsense publishers when google take back the money they earned.
That's a very good point, Napoleon. I'm sure Google must've thought of amalgamating all of your GMoney into your one Google account. While it's a very good idea, big G must have its own reasons for not having done it yet; would be nice to see it happen though Cheers
