Why no backlinks?

I did a link popularity check on my site and noticed 0 back links from google. Why is it 0 and what does it mean?
Heres the tool I used:

use dnscoop.com to check for status. its a lot better

 

Google is very picky about backlinks and what list them all. Yahoo gives you a much better idea, just type "link:http://yoursite.com" into the search box and it will show all your links.

 

Maybe that tool is crap and takes a while to gather information? I dont know but there are tons of other tools that are better you can try.

 

Why don't you check directly your backlinks on Google, do you use Google Webmaster Tool? Better have one.

 

try this in google

link:SPACEwww.yoursite.com

dont' type space, just put a space after the : and www

you will see more links.

 

When qyering for google backlinks, google will only provide a sample. Sometimes none at all

You need to use Google Webmaster Tools to egt a definate result.

i use addme too
if you see backlinks with yahoo and alltheweb

you should have some what close amount of backlinks on google
but backlinks are there, it just didn't show up thats all

I agreed wid use of webmaster tool, u can try thrgh backlinkwatch.com also.

you will surely get no. back links for your website.
