Why No Backlinks? - I know they're there!

For some reason Google thinks I have no site links. When I use the iWebTool backlink checker, there are many listed that have been there a long time. What's the deal? Why does Google show zero?

    my site is http://www.rarevictorian.com

Ignore the backlinks reported with Google.

Actually you should ignore the iWebTool backlink checker...how the hell would this company know what Google values???

You might as well walk out on the street and ask a stranger what Google thinks...

Google is never going to tell you the factual reality.

That would be like a casino, teaching you how to win at blackjack.

And we all know that's not happening :D

I think it is bit unusual, since your site already have some PR. True, google doesnt report all backlinks, but showing none and giving a PR is strange.

In GOOGLE webmaster tools this happened to me also. My domain was listed like this --> rarevictorian.com, so I deleted that site and re added as www.rarevictorian.com , Then all my links appeared!

Did you check out the Google Webmasters tool backlink report?

Alternatively, just use Yahoo Backlink checker :)

It's based on Yahoo backlinks results. They show us, what they found on the net in contrary from Google, which just list a short list of backlinks.
Results from yahoo aren't equal with Google's database, but it gives a general overview with the situation, so... it's more useful thank Google's links: command.

Check it at Yahoo! to know all possible links you have on your site.

sometimes tool is not accurate. Try to check your links in google webmaster tools this is more accurate than any other online tool. And remember google only shows some random sample of backlinks.

I think the links does not appeared because you build backlinks using rarevictorian.com
