My site is indexed in the Google search engine, but doesn't have any rankings at all. There is no duplicate content and no black hat seo. Why will my site not rank at all. The site thenewestgadget.com I have submitted some of my posts manually to social media sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, and Reddit. Will this hurt my seo?
It's won't hurt your seo and i'm doing that too. But you can predict it by anyway. Because not easy to get rank in google.
Dont worry about rankings - does your site come up when you are searching for keywords written about in your blog? Then your site has found a place in the serp's which is much more important in terms of visitor traffic. The rankings will follow.
My site used to come up for the search "the newest gadget" which is my domain name, now it does not even do that. Cant figure out what happened. my site does not come up for anything. But it is indexed in Google.
sometimes google dances. wait for few days and see if you come back to your original SERP. If not, it's high time you started link building for your site.
There is no harm in submitting your site to different social bookmarking sites. It may be cause of your efforts on over-optimizing that particular keyword.

I believe your site is under Heavy Penalty. Please check http://www.seopenalty.com/ Try to find any Google TOS that you have broken recently and ask for re-consider and pray hard. I don't see any links from your site to any bad neighborhood sites. Check with copyspace whether you have any content duplication issue. There can be so many other reasons for a penalty. Identify, repair and send reconsider request to Google. This might help you to regain older rankings. Good luck to you!

Download the free eBook at kechange.com and check out seomoz.org. They both have some great advice that will help you out. Also, I'd be careful of that popup ad you have on your site. Might be hurting your ranking.
Try to get backlinks to each and every webpage in your website. I have one webpage with good onpage seo, but doesn't appear in search result. Until I get more than 500 backlinks to that particular webpage, then I start to see it appearing in search result. Bear in mind that submitting to directories etc is getting links to your homepage, but that is not really helpful. What you want to do is to concentrate on each and every page.

My blog used to be #1 in Google for The Newest Gadget, now, I have no rankings. I dont know why the blog was penalized, all content is original, no black hat techniques, I have asked Google to reconsider my blog twice and nothing happened. I have no rankings for any keywords, its been a few months since I have noticed I lost all my rankings. What can I do at this point? I have building links, but I dont want to keep putting in time into something that isnt moving. ANy suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
This is a great source and I am surprised by penalty checking tool. Also, its amazing why the OP isn't ranking for the keyword in domain, May be there are lot of competition to the KW and you need more optimisation for it.
