I just tried checkpagerank.net. It is a good tool.
Why does it always show 0 links for HotBot???

    - Hotbot has got a PR0.
    - Some articles on the web are talking about its death.
    - If you load their startpage, does it look like a live website?
    Something's wrong with it..

    Hm.

Just for kicks, even though I have a Google Toolbar, I checked my site on checkpagerank.net

and it says my site's PR is 3.

My toolbar says it's still at 0.

    hm...?

If I check your site with "www" my toolbar says "3".
If I take www off, then I get a PR0 result..

No need to be. PR is known to vary sometimes if you try the domain with or without www.
You could check that on other domains. So yours is a PR3..

What action, if any, did you take to remedy the situation? Or did it just come back on its own?

The site was excluded probably because it was down for some time, I guess?
And in that time Googlebot came to your site and found nothing. Probably this is the cause. I dunno.

It comes back on its own. I did nothing, just waited as some members suggested.
