Why my site PR is not update?

As I do lot of promotion of my site and update it after some time but my site pr is not updated since longtime.. Why this happen?

How old is your website ? Are there enough backlinks to make some mark?

 

yes ,How old, the lastest update is Aprial.
you work hard, the next time will get a high pr.

 

Just get some good backlinks on High PR site ... then positively u will get better PR ..all the best thanks .....

 

How long your site not being update? Major PR update, i mean PR tool only update the PR few times a year

 

PR updates happen every few days. You just have to wait.

They don't announce it.

 

If the update happens and other peoples website got PR while you are none. The few possible reasons are

1. Your website has not enough high PR link pointing towards it.
2. Your inbound link page has a lot of outbound links that caused dilute each PR passed.
3. You have too many outbound link on your homepage. Both internal and external links.

 

Wait until the next update in July 09 !

 

Why do you care? Toolbar PR means nothing. Focus on what IS important.

 

Depends on how old your site is, and the quality of the backlinks you are gaining. If they are all from PR0 sites then there is little benefit.

 

Try to get some quality do follow backlinks. But why you giving importance to PR, your traffic or keyword rankings are not going to improve from PR.

 

Is that a new site?
For a new site, backlinks must be indexed and there must be a major PR update.

 

my website pr 4 is not updated too , I need move to Pr 5

 

Are you build strong backlinks with fresh content? Then you just have to wait.

Try to get more and more relevant back links and drive more traffic. you will get good pr.
