to rank in yahoo is harder then in google.plus, yahoo has a lot less searches then google,so you will get more visitors from google.yahoo indexed your website, but not ranked well.but it will if do a good job on SEO

Yahoo is much harder to rank for with 'free' domains. Your best bet is to get yourself an actual TLD domain, you can find hosts that charge about $10 for a years registration and hosting, sometimes much less & it is quite worth it.

The reason is because Yahoo favors OnPage factors heavily. Some sites have a good enough balance of title, descrip, and keyword stuffing for ONPage so that they rank well in Yahoo and still in Google. Same is true of Bing. Even if you have tons of backlinks with relevant anchor text you need to optimise heavily for your meta data and keywords on the actual page within the content.

each search engine has different ranking methods, algorithms etc.., so don't expect same results from all search engines. just concentrate on site building and site promotion and when time passes by you will be amazed to see the positions of your site at all search engines
