Stupid and not noticing are two different issues. Editors shouldn't be inferring that others are stupid, I couldn't remember if I asked the question, thought it or you weren't transparent enough to answer it.

By the way young lady, there are close to 100 categories in this forum and it looks like 150 of your 150 posts are in the ODP category. Go see if you can learn or offer something in the other categories.

Ya same case on wiki also one of my competitor is deleting my site links listed on wiki.

And yes dmoz dost help in traffic but in prank a lot. So i tried to add my link there. it was submitted year back. My PR has decreased from 4 to 2  and also many back links that was previously listed on Google has been removed from Google but the links still exists.

From Google webmaster tools it shows over 200 inbound links but they dont reflect on Google search ...

But my Search engine placement is very good, its on top 5 on most popular keyword of my site category, example bangla music , bengali music, bengali songs, bangla songs, etc...

Is that an admission to accepting bribes for DMOZ listings I see? My golly I think it is, say it ain't so!

Anyway don't worry about DMOZ, I have sites with listings, sites without, either way you can get to the top of the SERP(s), it's not important, submit and forget.

No, what you have done by quoting out of context in this way is tantamount to an admission that you have no interest in discussion in an intelligent way with reasonable persons

Quoting out of context is the way metas gather evidence to remove editors do you want to say that such evidence is false?

I don't know... it was supposedly an editor that said "You give us the money, you give us your time and then perhaps we might be interested in what you think might be nice." that does seem to say that if you pay your submission may be looked at in a new light. I mean, if time and money are paramount to getting changes installed within the directory, it only makes sense that time and money can also lead to a listing.

I was actually saying that if the OP would care to donate a few million to ODP so we could get some new equipment and software, also to give some time instead of being an armchair requester who gave nothing to ODP of their own time, then the OP's comments about what would be nice might be considered a possibility. But as it is the OP does nothing for the directory and the money available to the directory has always been limited and our priorities have not been the OP's priorities, so the OP could offer niceties all day and night and not even get heard.

Mercifully it would seem that AOL are now increasing their financial investment in ODP and we shall see some changes. Editors who work for ODP and spend their valuable spare time working there are getting asked what changes they would like to see.

Offering money to me would just get a person or their site reported for attempted bribery and thus blacklisted.

DMOZ takes donations??? Since when??? So reason for problems at DMOZ is lack of funds but instead of setting up donations or introducing paid express submissions nobody does nothing??? Why is that???

There is actually someone other then metas and few editalls left at DMOZ? Also considering how fast AOL reacted after crash any changes won't happen before 2017.

Wait, I have to go get my competitors list. :D

If you offered to paid to have your site removed would it then be green flagged for non-removal? I mean, that would get ya where it counts, not serving the web master and all.

Some time ago Qryztufre announced that his mission was to do destroy the ODP. Attempts to reason or explain yourself to Qryzty the destroyer are a complete waste of time.

Yes, I am out to destroy the ODP as it stands today. Me with my trusted sword and hordes of millions will plot and plan and do an all out assault on DMOZ (lol)

    ZERG RUSH!

IMO, it's really funny that wanting to clean up a directory is considered destroying it by it's current editing staff. Kinda gives precedence as to why that filth is there...

    *shrug*

    Whatever.

Soviet Union was destroyed when communist regime was overthrown so they've got good reasons for fear... ;)

    P.S.
Our last attempt in crashing the server was only partially successful and we have suffered heavy losses in assault on castle in which they kept old server. :D

You will do nothing sat on your office chair pontificating about what might or might not change. If you really want to do that you have to be part of it, if you did not leave under a cloud (and I don't have every editor name in my head and how they left) you know you are welcome back. But if you want to try and destroy us, then you are more simple than I thought. Do you really think that AOL even bothers to know about what you think here?

The changes are now being seen inside ODP and there will soon be changes seen outside, but whilst you remain outside, then you will have to wait with the rest.:D

Wouldn't revealing anything to the public be violation of communication guidelines? :p

And does changes include paid listings with DMOZ officially becoming a company with metas as stockholders.

AOL certainly does not bother to care enough that Annie was let go because of Cancer. Her getting fired the main reason I left. I happen to have morals that are high enough to not allow myself to be associated with such vial lies and corruption as to get rid of an innocent person without as much as a talking to. So of course, if they are keeping a meta staff like they are its no wonder they don't care what an Ex-Ed says, does, or thinks...

And the cloud I left under was all the buzz, if you didn't notice that, then you don't visit the internal forums... though, maybe you should check out the thread I started and voice your own opinion. It's about the distinct lack of Dashboard warnings before firing editors, and about an appeals system once it does happen.

And don't tell me the Meta community "discusses it" before they fire someone unless you are a meta.
I believe you as much as you believe everyone you've told to offer proof. Why don't you practice what you preach? By not doing that you look like a fool. Serious...think about it.

Firstly in this post you demonstrate that there is no low to which you will not stoop in your sad campaign. To suggest that an editor was fired because they had cancer is about one of the most pathetic things I have heard said about the ODP and its editors. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And you paint your self as some sort of moralistic hero. You joined the ODP under false pretenses, editing was the last thing on your mind; you then continued you on your whining within the ODP and then quit. Your facts are wrong, if you had not done your sniveling martyr act and quit you would have been to see that for yourself.

There was a point where I thought you had some small morsel of integrety, but I was wrong. Very wrong.

There is no other explanation of why she was let go...

Annie was sick, had a bad day behind the dashboard, yet when she was feeling better a few days later there was no dashboard warning waiting for her...there was no dashboard.

So the only sad campaign here is that of you and yours.

I was honest my my application, my affiliations, and my intentions for joining. To further my little corner of the internet, and I'm not talking about my sites...but those sites like mine. I am a community person, and would have loved nothing better then to have fit within the community of the ODP, and I honestly feel I could have had it not been over ran with secrecy and contempt for the new editors. So do not even claim to know who I am or what my aims and goals are, it is clear that you do not have a clue.

If I'm that bad, then where do I sign up to be a Meta?
