why my site isnt indexed yet?

hello

its over few days since i lunched my site (in my sig)

and it hasnt been indexed yet. i have more new sites which i promoted in the same way and they are indexed already.

can someone check my site and let me know if something is wrong?

You need to submit it in search engines like google, yahoo, do bookmarking, directory submission, article submission it will crawl.

 

Actually, no one knows the secretive method of Search engines how they crawl and get indexed.But most of them pick up sites robot web crawlers and it may take a long time to find you.But you need to do Social bookmarking in top bookmarking sites,directory submissions and do quality posts that will helps to get in high rank.

 

Use Google, Yahoo and Bing webmaster tools..

 

Agree with this, google did take a while to index my sites when launched Yahoo took a lot longer. As long as you keep adding backlinks your site will eventually get indexed.

 

i normally use google webmaster tools, submit a sitemap and job done normnally 24 hours

If you have already submitted it to the search engines and have a robots.txt file it should get picked up within 2-3 weeks. Build good quality backlinks which will help your site get indexed quicker.

 

If it's a new site, you will have to wait a while UNLESS you can get some decent links for it. Like for example if you got your link posted on a PR7 site you would probably be indexed in 30min (I know this is not a realistic situation, just giving you an idea). So patient is key. Google may have read the site already, but not got around to indexing it yet.

i submited articles with links to my site, those articles are indexed by google and still my site not. so i will late a little bit and than go to panic

Add your site to http://www.google.com/addurl.html. Submit your sitemap in webmaster tools, submit your sites to social bookmarking sites which has a higher frequency. Participate in forums with your signature. Doing this process increases the probability of crawling your site.

2. Add url to Google, Yahoo and MSN

You have to give it to sometimes.. or try submit it directly to Google directory.

 

I checked again today, yes the site is still not indexed in Google. Try pinging your site.
