Hi, For the past few days ( 5-8 days may be) my site is just going here and there in Googles Search Results Pages. I have no idea and i am just feeling bad about it. Anyone experiencing same thing for your websites? If you know the reason please tell me. Thanks
Stop the dancing with adding quality editorial links which are permanent and will give your site trust. Trust rank is more important than domain age and PR.
Stop watching it guy, it will drive you nuts, do what others have suggested here, add more quality content and links, concentrate on this not your positioning.
Great inputs! Put them to good use: add quality content (readers/visitors and search engines alike love new, original content) and work on getting quality back links (post in forums and comment in blogs belonging to the same niche as your site). Don't worry about the SERPs. Your site's ranking will change from time to time, particularly if your site is new, so just keep on working on your off-page SEO. Hope that helps! Have a good day!
My frind, if you are not new in seo then you must know that it is common in seo. For better stability, do better job. If you make your position on first SERP, it does not mean that your effort is complete and you have achieved the goal. Be continuous and laborious too slow and steady wins the race.
Sounds normal & nothing new to me, Google keeps updating its index whenever it find relevant & better content that's one of the reason why everybody keeps on recommending to add new & valuable information to the site. TBH, its extremely difficult to maintain top rankings in Google serps there are others webmasters too & all of them needs top ranking too, so you can imagine the competition rate.
This is pretty normal... SERP rankings fluctuate due to many reasons - You are logged in to your google account while checking the rankings - You search results are affected by your browsing history (clear the cache and cookies) - You results are affected by data centers (google pass user's query to nearby data center and may be every time your query passed to different DC, this affects your rankings because these DCs are not in sync!) And do not worry about Google Dance, It is no more experienced after Caffeine update.
Its just the google dance. It will settle down. Also, try checking it using scroogle.org which is just google results with out using your search history and geographic location to influence it.
