Check your site structure and make sure the webpages that are being refreshed with new content are easy for SE to find and index

As everyone said lots of links is very important. Dynamic content will also help. If ever time the crawler comes back there is new content the more likely it is to come back quicker in the future.

There are 2 ways to increase crawl rates:

    1) Constantly add new pages. If the engines see every time they return for your site's scheduled deep crawl that you have new pages then they will schedule deep crawls of your site more and more frequently. They will try to find a balance between your content generation rate and their crawl rate.

    2) Links... Links... Links... as the previous posters said. Every time they follow a link from another site to your site, they will typically index a few pages while they are on your site. The more inbound links, the more partial crawls.

Update content frequently and keep promoting your site, try getting as many back links you can from other established similar niche Web sites and quality directories.
