Before my alexa ranking go up daily, but lately my alexa ranking is going downhill a lot lately. Is there a way to find out if search engine put my site on sandbox or something? penaltized?
what linking strategy you are doing?maybe your got some bad links now-a-days reason why its dropping.
due to the Google algorithm update your site might be affected other wise you should change your SEO activity with the new content.
Alexa ranking isn't worth bothering about. What's more important is your traffic pattern and your position in Google. Is your problem only with Alexa rankings?, or is the amount of traffic to your website going down as well?

Your site might have been affected by the latest google algo update. My site has been largely affected by that google dance. So I am not shock to hear this. Just continue to build links for your site and everything will be fine. My site has been having the same problem to a few days ago, decreasing its rank,. But now I am getting happy to get my site increasing again in ranking.. I did nothing but to continue and build links for it. I also made up new ways in my link building strategies.
Alexa ranking is not SEO ... stop considering crap stuff important ... All that mathers are RANKINGS and Traffic
Alexa = crap = don't believe it. What you need to do is focus on getting quality content up, driving traffic, and getting links.
My site's alexa is worse than it used to be but the site is about the same in google. If anything we actually get more traffic now. I would say Alexa isn't worth anything.
