Why my search engine rankings are so low? where was I wrong?

Ok this is my story : Traffic is my problem.

Its true im a newbie as i start web developing 8 months ago but...

I currently own 2 onArcade online game websites: www.jocuridestrategie.com and www.jocurii.info !
First time i got into this business i bought 2 .info domains, www.jocurii.info and www.joace.info ( this domain is now jocuridestrategie.com as i bought one .com domain and 301 redirected it ). I know that .info domains and free domains are ranked lower on search engines than a .com domain or the others that are more expensive.

For the last 5 months i spend my time building backlinks on these 2 sites. Ok i submit daily to 10 directories each website and not more cause i did not want google to consider spam cause of too many backlinks builded too fast. Beside directory submisions i was forum posting and link exchangeing ONLY with sites that are related to my niche. What do i achive for my hard work? Well page 7 on my main keyword Jocuri Masini on Jocuri Masini website ( a kinda hard keyword due to my competitors ) but still too far positioning because i have around a Total Backlinks 24162 i checked on www.backlinkwatch.com. And ok maybe if i would buy a .com domain and redirect this website i will advance 1 page maxim but its not enough. My other website "Jocuri de Strategie" is ranked second page 3rd position, and this keyword is soo lowwwww , no competitors at all, under 100 visits from first position at this keyword so imagine that. This site has even more backlinks Total Backlinks 31975 allmost 32000. Well i know you can have tons of backlinks but if they are non-rellated niche or from non PR pages they are allmost useless. I got the backlinks from 1-3 pr pages and Games niche websites. I THINK i did correct SEO as i read all day long about SEO and link development.

I know the age of the website and domain is important too but i cannot wait several years to get some revenue from adsense.

So where was I wrong? i get only 40-50 maxim visits on both sites from search engines (90% from google).

I only have a second to post but a couple things to watch out for:
1. Be absolutely sure that none of the text on your site is duplicated elsewhere
2. More text on each page. Search engines can only read what they can see and primarily that is text.
3. Try using less competitive key word combinations in the alt text.
4. Descriptive text higher up on the page.

Properly you should start building backlinks while targeting long tail keyword phrases first and then move forward to the competitive ones

However, i totally agree with 'rbucich' content is very important specially for newly established websites, and the duplicate content filters normally target those new websites based on the age/trust of the site..

try to use .com... and maybe you lack in SEO making more tags can give you more chances to achieve you goal.

 

Sooo little text. You don't have much content. It's normal not having good position. The good content(text) is the king. If you are able to write more keywords rich text you will advance.

 

I dont have duplicate content at all , i personally writed down my games description.

Start to build up the backlinks, especially from those with high PR.
Getting more authority backlinks can increase your site's link popularity.

 

Maybe you should remove those outbound links in your footer.

 

Free directory submissions and link exchanges (which are usually ignored or pass very little juice) are not going to be enough to rank for any competitive term. You need links from authority sites (sites that already rank well for the keywords you are targeting). The more natural the link, the better. Link exchanges are certainly not natural.

Start using blogs. Make sure your site has 80% content or unique information to offer about your product/industry.
Make sure your site isnt all about selling.

Now im on page 3 on my keyword Jocuri de strategie , what the fac? I dont understand googles alogorithm at all.

 

There are many ways you can promote your site, and inevitably acheive a higher SERP.
Obviously too many to just 'list' in one reply, but you can check out my post here, on ways to increase PR and promote your site.

 

i think, u need to reoptimize the both website as per google guideline and need to do only white hat seo

for games website if you want to increase traffic social bookmarking is effective than directory submission and you can also use traffic exchange and banner exchange methods these are best way's for arcade sites to boost there traffic because if you only depends only on search engines for traffic than it's very hard and time taking process.
