Hi Guys I am building backlinks to increase the PR of my website. I am using SEOQuake to check the PR of my website. SEOquake result show: PR: 0 Links: 122|149(130). As you can see I have 122 internal links and 130 external links. Why my PR is still 0? I do not understand why my PR is still 0. Anyone please? Thanks
Pretty simple really. Google updates PR every 3-4 months on average....has it even been update since you added those links? Secondly and more importantly.....122 links is simply not a big number. Plenty of people on here have way more then that simply from this board...once you start getting into the 1-2k area then it's time to think about the type of PR that you're generating
Thanks for your reply. I have seen websites with just 20 or 30 backlinks with PR of 3. My website is really new so. Google is going to update the PR soon. So you know any good list of good PR website that I can buy? Thanks
I'm kind of in the same situation. I've been building as many links as I can through forums, commenting, link exchanging...etc. I only have a couple hundred, but I feel I should be at least at PR1 or 2. I think google hasn't updated in a while. Does anyone know when the next update will come?
Don't expect to instantly get a PR. Google does not update PR individually, it is done a few times a year for all sites at once. The next update will probably be towards the end of the year. Annoying huh.
Yeah, google updates PR Every 4 months, so the next time it updates (I believe August correct me if i'm wrong) You guys will probably have a PR of 1-3.
PR might be taking a little longer to "take". I also have a new site that's stuck at 0, although I've had other sites attain a decent PR much quicker in the past.
It's just the luck of the draw with when the update is (to an extent). Get some good links in time for the next PR update and hey presto you get a PR, if you just start out and PR updates, you'll have to wait much longer.
you need to be building links for about 2-3 months ahead before a google PR update. google hasn't updated PR in almost 4 months now and we are expecting a PR update anytime now. if you have been building links for the past couple of months atleast, then wait till the next PR update and you should see some PR for your site.
There may be many reason:- First go and check Google Webmaster Tool and check dupilicate content issue. Then check Outbound links on your website, Use Nofollow tag ito control outbound links. PR increases with quality links pointing to your website in your niche.
First of all as Everyone clearified already that it takes time for google to crawl your site. Secondly you have to check that what's the PR for those links with whom you are linking to. If they are as bad as you or worst than you which means that they dont have any PR, they actually are not indexed, then you can only wait and see nothing but a Dumb site with no visitors coming to it and no improvement in PR. Besides that there could be many other reasons for that and for that you have to start leaning about SEO or hire someone to do it for you
Sure, you can find an outlier to every rule...what about the AVERAGE PR 3 or 4 website? I'll bet you they have more then 30 links on average. Plus, if they only have 30 links, can you copy those links? I wouldn't buy a high PR site, spend about 15 minutes a day building high PR backlinks using profiles and you'll get there within the next Google update.
Forget pagerank One of my sites has PR0 with google links about 80. It is top20 (22,400,000 results) for 2 words keyword on google.
Might be you not create quality link for your website, it can say link building from theme base website.
Maybe you get PR leak, by linking to many sites from your page. sometimes it will decrease the value of your site in google eye
