There is nothing wrong with the Bing sitemap. It is a widely known fact that Bing is very slow in crawling and updating it's index. A lot of big portals you would see have very less pages in Bing index. All you can do is wait and hope that Bing updates quickly.

In the meantime, don't stress too much on number of pages, just focus on building good content and increasing the number of backlinks from reputed sites of your niche.

    Hope this helps.

    · Target no more than two keywords per page

    · Use unique <title> tags on each page

    · Use unique <meta> description tags on each page

    · Use H1 tags

    · Use text navigation links

    · Create content for your human visitors, not the Bing web crawler

    · Incorporate keywords into URL strings

Build links for these pages, it will take time for the SE to index all those pages. And you cannot expect to do some miracle that will do that much work for you.

Wow I've been asking myself the same question for a long time now and my website only has 34 pages. How slow is Bing? Disgusting. How do they expect people to rank for anything at such a pace? Submitted my sitemap twice by updating certain things and still nothing! All my pages are indexed in Google and Yahoo, but ooooh no! Not Mr. Small shot Bing! I guess time will tell right?
