Why my page rank is still 0 after 1 year !

My website's age is more than 1 year, and it has more than 1900 indexed page in goolge, all contents are unique (it's not copy).

According to google Webmaster it has backlink from 49 domains. But my page rank is still 0 ! why ? what should i do ?
(my website is not in English, but you can find its link from my signature)

 

49 backlinks is not a lot. And if they do not have any PR or if they are NoFollow then you won't get any
PR on your site either.

I would suggest doing some serious backlink building (not blackhat).
Go around and leave good comment on related websites and maybe write some
guest posts or articles and submit. You can also start doing social bookmarking.

Try to make at least 50 new backlinks per months, it wouldn't be so hard.
And aim for the high-pr websites that allows DoFollow.

You said your site only had 49 backlinks, well 49 backlinks is not yet enough to rank a site you need to put a lot of efforts, link building efforts on your site in order to get highr page rank. Do more in link building.

 

Are you building links? And plus PR isn't all that important.

You must do building of back link over and over after that you may occur on your desired goal. please try to do this.

Build more links for your website. Google considers only quality back links. So, build quality links through different SEO sources.

Google has updated their pagerank this Jan-Feb after 9 long months... Why is it that Google doesn't frequently update the PageRank now a days. Whereas I've found that the page for the social media profile pages gets an early PageRank update, Twitter profile page gets PageRank very quickly. Does Google treats them differently?

Hey Wulkanen, I said i have backlinks from 49 domains, but number of backlinks are more than 100,000 !

As you and other guessed, most of them are low page rank websites. There are PR2 and PR1 between them.

 

You can try getting backlinks from sites having more than pr1, also backlinks from websies related to .org and .edu do carry a huge value. You can also actively participate in high pr forums and do regular blog commenting on blogs related to your website niche and of high pr as well. Practicing these things sincerely will definately get your website a good pr.

But, anyways, is Google the only search engine you are targeting? Since your site is not in English... Ok, just a few tips:
- Google PR is not frequently updated. I mean, your actual PR at the moment may be PR1, but Google may not have sent new data to it's toolbar so far, so you don't see it (they say Google sends updates once in 5-6 months, but nobody really knows how often)
- It's better to get one link from a high-PR site than 100s of links from PR 0 sites or sites with bad reputation (it's an exaggeration, but in general this is how it works)
- And, Google PR is not hugely important for your rankings.
