I have a blog at http://ebookdeal.blogspot.com and I use google toolbar. When I get on my page the page rank is grey and my blog is olg 1,5 months. Am I going to get page rank soon or I loosed it? __________________________________________________________________ Merry Xmas to everybody and have a happy new year with lots of earnings
it means you aint got any rank yet, dont worrie about it, concentrate on spamming forums instead, oops sorry looks like you got that under control, lol
Why are you so rude to members on the DP forum? You're constantly getting in fights, you insult people, and your posts contribute absolutely nothing to these forums. Just pointing that out .
Actually as a page of Blogspot.com you never receive any PR Blogger.com which owns the site... is who receives the PR.
Marko, dont worry about the page rank grey thing... The PR Grey means, 1. You are banned from Google, 2. Your site simply starting in Google..... In your case, the 2nd point is right... Now check with info:http://ebookdeal.blogspot.com/ . What you can see is information about your blog is already in Google... Now check with site:http://ebookdeal.blogspot.com/ . Pages from your site is indexed in Google.... So why you are worrying about this? Your site is only 1.5 months old.... Simply keep updating the blog 2-3 times in a week, build links with other sites.... You are on your way....
That is not true.... I can see many Blogspot blogs have good PR.. For example, you can see this blog have a PR of 6 !!! http://labnol.blogspot.com/
Thanks guys. This forum s great You helped me a lot. Mark _________________ Merry Xmas to everybody... And have a happy new 2008 with lots of earnings
Well you can believe or not. Blogger.com is the main site and has a PR 8... all sub pages would then have a PR of 1 less or lower.... but no page can never have a higher PR than the main site. Since nobody but blogger owns blogger.. your page is in essence, their page(s). (You're building their business with your content.) It is akin to opening your store in a shopping mall...you own the products and lease the store.....but you don't own the store. Here is another test to prove the thoughts Try to redirect the blogspot page, to a page of a website you own so you can pass the PR to your own domain.
I agree with you Sem-Advance... Always use our own domains.... So that we have full control over our domains and sites.... If anyone want a blog like site, he/she can use wordpress or any other blog software..... Also from the above example labnol.blogspot.com, you can also check this site; http://www. labnol.org . The lesson I can learn from this example is; he first used (still using) blogspot subdomain... After building and maintaining the subdomain for a while, he now using his own domain... (also using subdomain)..... Both are famous and provides good reading.... And this sites are not mine....
Using the various search engine blogs to build links back to the main site is very smart!!! Good stuff!! Peace!
i am offended, truly, if you cant take a joke then more fool you, as for my post not making any contribution i would have to disagree. i offer great advice to people who need it, webmasters need a sense of humor too you know.
Get some links going to your site..and then be patient..1.5 months isn't much and there hasn't been a PR update in over 1.5 months so I say give it another 2-4 months.
That means that your site have no pagerank yet or unranked....PR update is every 3-4 months...so wait for the next PR update...
