Why my new blog still not index?

Discussion in 'Google' started by TSG, Sep 17, 2012.

I have two tech blog and i use blogger. My one blog domain name older than 1 year. Today i start another tech blog and it has 4 blog post (with own domain name). However my new blog still not index by the Google (not index root domain and posts). I already submitted my new blog site map to the Google web master tool and i fetch as Google bot. But now it almost left 3 hours still my new blog not index.

My older blog all new post index less than 5 minutes, most of the time Google index new post less than 2 minutes, but my new blog still not index. I already created few social bookmarks and i added my new blog URL to my older blog new post. Still no positive solution. Are there any other thing that should i do?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I have the same problem with a new blog and I have done everything same as the OP including Ping.

I cranked this one out the same way I do with other blogs that are usually indexed by now.

    Yahoo/Bing already lists the site.

Another example of why I wish yahoo/bing had the greater influence on things.

The best way to get indexed is keep posting great content and google will eventually start crawling your site more often. It takes time. Don't worry you'll get indexed soon. Just focus on the content for now.

    TSG,

You have been given some great responses. I will echo them here. It does take some time to get indexed, so since your site was only a few hours old when you posted, it makes sense that it would not yet be indexed. Chad1988 is also correct in that you will need to post some great content and share it with others. Tweeting your URL or posting the URL on Facebook would be another good strategy. Google Help covers some of the reasons your site might not be indexed. I have provided a link below:

    Hope this helps,

You can try linking your new blog from another old one, which is having better indexing frequency. This will provide a way to Google Crawlers for better indexing of your new blog.

Once your blog gets indexed, you have to just update it on regular basis. Crawlers will continously look for new updates for your blog.

One more thing, you can manually ping your blog from various blog ping services like : pingot.com

I once had a site which got indexed by Google two weeks after its launch. So, just be patient, and do work well.

the most common reason that a site is not indexed is because it's just too new.be patient and ask google to index your site.
