Why my media drive has two USB ends?

    I have a HP pocket media drive. The USB cable connects to one @ the drive and other end has 2 USBs. I connected only one.. I dont know why there is another one.. any idea why?

    In case you need more power to spin the drive and make it work. Some computers do not supply enough power through a single port thus you would use two.
