Why my home page disappeared from Yahoo first page?

My site came out in Yahoo the first page. My home page. Then all of a sudden it disappeared and now only one of my subpages comes out. This happened after I changed some links with link exchanges. I waited couple of days maybe it goes back but nothing happened. Still if I enter the keywords only the subpage comes. Does anybody know why this happened and how can I change it back? Thanks.

Really? This is the first time I heard this kind of problem. Did you contact the customer service in yahoo about this?

I am a bit worried also if this things will happen to me.

I know google warns of too much link exchanges. If Yahoo has the same thinking, then this could be the problem. See how many link exchanges you have and if you think they are too many, drop quite a number especially links to webpages with poor page rank. Also make sure you link to sites with good content. This might help.

If your site is new then its very normal for pages to move around a bit at first. They tend to stabilize though.

Reindexing? Why do they do that? Since then it has changed several times, different subpages came out, but the home page is still not back yet.:(

No, I don`t think it is the content. I have games on every page. Now one page comes out, with one particular game...

I have had a similar problem, where only a page deep inside my site appears. However my home age is back on the first page of yahoo. I personally don't bother with yahoo as I get little to no traffic from it anyway.

I think you should have a count of your yahoo backlinks every alternate days and check if they are going down because of some link building (which actually is not possible).

However the sites which you are linking back might have been backlisted by yahoo or google. So better check their details before you get a backlink from any other site.

If your Google's status is unchanged and your site is doing well there, there us nothing to worry about as it could be a temporary issue. Fluctuations are reported a lot and most of them could be temporary things.
