Yeah, watch out for that.. Several dogs have died as a result.. If you need a good source in WI, let me know and I will ask my wife where she gets our dogs food... She's pretty particular about that stuff...

Yep, I just didn't realise the food I got him 'Iams' was part of that!
I'd love it if you could, I'm open to pretty much anything as long as it's quality and the ingredients list looks good ;)

Maybe you should test it first before giving to your dog :)

Chinese goods are all over the market, issue is sometimes it is pretty tough to distinguish the good and the bad. "Iams" from P&G should be no issue I guess.

I 'think' Iams was apart of the deadly dog food. I'd rather not take the chance ;)

I'll pay 2x as much if I need to in order to have quality food.

China sells deflation and we seem to be in love with it.

I cook for my dog. He eats pretty much whatever I eat. ;)

I make my own dog food as well. Check out the ingredients in commercial dog food...
I absolutely boycott China. They actually use cats and dogs fur to make worthless knick knacks and coats. Google China dog fur trade. Makes me sick.

I agree that Chinese products are everywhere. i.e Asia, Euro, US....etc
You will not have any advantage of not using Chinese products.

A true story about the chinese goods.

China exported their stuffed toys in Taiwan at a very cheap price. The stuffed toy manufacturers in Taiwan were shocked and were struggling to stay afloat. China stuffed toys became such a big hit and they were even given as giveaways on different gasoline stations because they were that cheap and they look pretty decent. Some time later, there were many reports of skin allergy among the kids. They couldn't figure out why they got the allergies but the taiwanese figured out that all these kids had at least 1 china-made stuffed toy so they opened up 1 stuffed toy. What did they found stuffed inside?

    Garbage.

The guy doing the damage is the middleman. They mark a cheap product from China at a high margin. Many times there are American products available and they never make it to the shelf.

You get a cheap price but you don't get any safety or quality.

Children's toys and food products are dangerous.
