Hello Friend, i have problem with my campaign... i use adwords for ads my site and my site is about antivirus. I have bidded from minimum bid and not run well. after that i increase my bid until 0.03/click but reality is not work. what must i do?? Please help me...thanks
Hi, There are a lot of factors which impact the performance of your adwords campaign. One of the most important factors being, selecting the right keywords. What sort of keywords have you picked? are they receiving traffic at all? How many competitors in that niche? There are many unanswered questions in your post.. let us know clearly.. cheers, venkata
i have sorted keyword with keyword tools. i typed word "Antivirus" and keyword ideas give me a lot of list and i added all in my campaign. and for the first i bid only 0.01 but nothing happen. So i increased my bid be 0.02 but in fact its still like that. Impression=0 , Click = 0, and all = 0. In fact, I make budget $10/day When i clicked my campaign, My campaign said 633 keywords inactived. and i saw must increase a bid or optimization. but i have been confusing for this case. ooo in one case i saw my competitor bid at antivirus keyword "Big". The little is 0.09. So what must i do now? thanks
Your issue means that your keyword bids are too low (below the minimum). You need to select all keywords and then click "select keyword settings" and look at what the minimum bids are. If you can afford those bids then meet or exceed them. Good Luck!
Its probably because you might be having insufficient budget for your campaign, or you are using an adwords account activated via a VCC ?? and using a coupon for this ? If yes then it is advised to leave it as it is, because your campaign might be under observation or your account is under observation. This is what i personally feel, as it did happened to me as well Goodluck anyways Cheers
definitley familiarize yourself with adwords settings and options, form what you have said you dont understand what you are doing. get to know what you are doing. find out all the settings and options for adwords and get optimisation tips from google adsense help. you could waste a lot of money and not generate any quality traffic. if you learn how to use adwords properly you could spend a reasonable budget and have quality targetted traffic. adwords has a budget manager, let it choose your maximum bids and try it for one day with a little more than you would ideally like to pay. monitor it closely and then callibrate your budget and keywords.
You seem to have started with the idea that you could get your ads running with a bid of 0.01 - the minimum bid that is technically possible. That's not going to happen. Even 0.03 is an extremely low bid. In essence you need to increase your bids to something more realistic. You can get costs down by paying attention to your quality score, and the relevance of your landing page, keywords and ad text, but the figures you're starting with are completely unrealistic.
It does look like you may be affected by quality score issues. Your keywords, adverts and landing pages need to be relavent to your chosen niche. You also need to meet Google's minimum bid in order for your ad to appear, even then you may only appear on the nth page which is no good, you need to show up on first page. The only way is to choose a cpc that will allow your keywords to appear on first page. Start small with only a couple of keywords and work your way up. I could write you a whole essay on this, the learning curve is steep so if you are serious about adword I strongly recommend you get training or employ a professional. Damien
I Just made a post asking if someone could help me determine why our adword account received 111 impressions today and no clicks. And then read about what happened to you. I have experience with adwords and usually do pretty well and couldn't understand why were not getting any clinks. It's a small niche and our ad placement averaged around the 3rd position. with 4 ads running. And it was an account set up with a voucher and a regular credit card not a vcc. Could the voucher be the issue for the poor performance?
i dont think it would be the voucher, i started my campaigns with a voucher from my webhost and it worked really well.
