hi, all i myself creating a site for my online marketing with wordpress. but i am facing one big prob which is " though i post in category but it shows only in hompage,always categories are blank. what is the solution?? do i need any coding??or what? pls suggest if you are confident. thnx to all
It should show up in both the category(ies) you have selected as well as the homepage. That is how wordpress works by default. If you want to create a custom homepage then use one of the pages for it and select it as homepage inside wordpress admin == > settings.
thnx a lot , waziuz to reply. but i selected both homepage and category. still not working, and in admin there are many settings, which settings you are talking about exactly? also if write us step by step process, then it would be very easy to understand.
If it does not show on the category page then there's a problem with the category template of your theme. Please show the code from category.php here.
If you have selected category properly while posting, it should show in siteurl/category/category-name page. If not, then there are errors in your category template. As Yuuko008 mentioned, pase your category.php codes here thus we can look in it.
