Why my adsense earnings are that much low

Hello guys,
I just want to know why my adsense earnings are so low. Yesterday i got 10k organic traffic according to analytics. 17k ad impressions according to adsense, and my earnings are 8.5$ with around 300 clicks.
Now what is this why i am earning that much low with that many clicks. Traffic is from all over the world and around 26% from India

 

that's definitely odd. pay rates are really low for some niches, but i doubt theyr'e so low that 300 clicks and 17,000 ad impressions only equal up to $8.50. i really don't know though man. sucks.

 

If your site is about wardrobe hangers then yea, it will be low.

i think niche is good enough to earn good money.
Yesterday i got massive traffic coz of cwc 2011 final.

 

It's a hard one, try different ad styles.

 

i think ads placement is perfect coz click rates is good enough. Dont know why PPC is low. Does the category we mention while creating ad units matter?

 

the traffic ration on your site is not good, the click rate of asians is quite low as compared to the UK and America ones.

 

but the traffic was wide spread, i think clicks are not only from asian countries. Coz i can see a good traffic from uk too.

 

oh i just checked the country wise visits from analytics, omg 6k visits are from India itself. My awstat shows only 1k from India. Now i guess most of the clicks are from India. But earnings are really very bad.

 

The reason is due to your traffic. India or asia traffic might not give you high cpc

 

Traffic from india/pakistan is so much and pays so low that I've banned any content related to those countries in my user-generated content sites, I don't want useless traffic. You should seriously think about it too before doing other blog posts for indian traffic, what's the point really? It doesn't pay with adsense. Focus on general content which can attract mass traffic from western countries.
