It's only 283 hops. But there are a ton of other threads about this. Infact the thread right below yours is on the very topic.

Hops = the number of people who clicked on one of your hoplinks (the http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net link that you have put on your site to send people to the merchants site).

Thats wierd. Maybe you should wait for a day to see if it gets credited to your account. Not to spook you, but maybe your cookie somehow had a previous affiliates id.

Maybe you should contact Clickbank about it. I've just bought a Clickbank product using my affiliate link and the transaction was posted within 5 minutes.

Its not allowed to use your own affiliatelinks to buy products for yourself.
Thats why they dont give you any commission.
You also might get banned soon.

You are allowed to buy clickbank products through your own hoplinks and are always paid the commission on the sale.

Clickbank just doesn't want people to buy products exclusively for themselves. That's why they have the 5 different credit card disbursement rule.

You're not going to get banned.

    WRONG!

You're allowed to buy using your own hoplink!
Some publishers even encourage that because it gives them a gravity boost.
As long you to don't use your CB account solely for getting a discount on CB products, you're good to go

Well.. if he buys CB products, once in a while, it's okay, meaning, if he buys one product, he's not breaking TOS. He's not talking about buying a lot of products, just one

Well, i recommend anyone to read the TOS of CB.
To be most sure if you want to own a product, let a family member or good friend order the product you want from your own shop.
    That must be 100% safe.
