I believe there are people on both sides that wanted peace and people on both sides that want war. Yitzak Rabin was the best chance for peace, and one of the persons, along with einstein, jfk among others other that i really respected and read up on their policies. If yitzak rabin wasnt assasinated i believe there would be no war right now between the isrealis and palestine, but some palestinians are finally realizing that brute force and and blowing up innocent civilians isnt right and wont bring them peace. Look at the civil war they started in lebanon.

Violence only begets violence. IF they are being mistreated in any way, they should take a page out of MLK'S book and try non violent protests. Gandhi also did this and india eventually gained independence from britain.
In the end peace and love is the only lasting solution.

Peace also works very well for Switzerland, they have not been at war since 1815 due to a non-interventionist policy with other countries.
    • The Swiss are also free of terrorist attacks too :)

Yeah it's not like terrorists have ever targeted Switzerland at all is it?

I mean hijacking planes & blowing them up isn't terrorism:rolleyes:

Even Swiss officials don't have your confidence:

"He said international conflicts such as the war in Iraq are fueling the problem..."

    Thank you :)
You helped make the case for ending the illegal occupation of Iraq even stronger.

Fueling the problem, the problem of the swiss getting attacked, please explain how that works? it sounds like a poor excuse to me.

Why should the swiss get attacked?

    This was proved false above.

Also you never answered or followed up on your beliefs here:

    * I proved your source supported my position.
    * I also said "Thank You" :)

    Now I did:

Are you stating that as a fact?

    * It is a fact neutral countries have far less attacks than aggressive ones

    or are you just assuming.

    * I am assuming the above fact will make us safer.

How do you propose ending the endless War on Terror?
