Why MSN doesn't allow off line messaging?

    Almost all popular instant messaging services including yahoo, icq allows sending offline messages. But msn doesn't. I don't understant why? What is the problem with sending offline messages.

    Yes! just upgrade your msn to version 8.0 !!! so that u can send offline messages to your buddies!!!

    I think if both the mesage sender and reciever has 8.0, then the Offline works.

    Only the sender requires MSN 8.0 - the receiver still gets the offline messages ok.. they just can't send 'em.

    The annoying part of 8 though is even afte ryou block someone they can still send you messages, I hate that!!!

    i LOVE offline messaging in MSN 8. that way I can ignore all my other friends who want to talk to me and talk to the ones I want to.
