Why most people likes Titanic movie?

I enjoyed the movie Titanic, but it seemed to copy the far better "A night to remember."

If you have seen the latter you will know what I mean.

I know they are both based on the same incident, but the fictional elements are very similar.

I think the movie shows that in love, it doesn't matter your status your life, as long as you love each other. Love will make the way.

 

what does audience demands to watch in a movie ? action! love ! and dramatc ending ! titanic had it all ! you would not find many movies having all these 3 genre mixed togather ! so thats what makes titanic "one of the best" , if not " the best movie" of hollywood

Titanic is one of the historic must-see movies just like scarface and starwars. And it will be the coming up generations.
