This is going to be very short but to the point

    Lack of testing

    and

    Lack of tracking

these 2 things can be applied to every aspect of your ppc campaign - keywords, ads, landing pages, etc..

    That's so true!

That said, it could be due to lack of capital too.

Lack of capital = No $$$ for testing.

yeah, many people don't try to emphasize on this matter.Initial test may cause some $$ but for the long run its a good investment in any marketing:)

    Couldn't agree more.
I would initially just give up on campaigns without bothering to do any testing or tweaking. It wasn't till i started to do some proper rigorous testing that i took some "dud" campaigns and made them profitable.

They mostly fail because they are not approaching it in right way.
Its mainly because lack of tracking..
Also some time they were lacking time also to put ppc campaign at right time..
    It may cost them..

Just to add to this I think a lot of people fail because they expect it to be easier than it really is. We, as marketers, are constantly getting the message (from guru's, etc) that PPC is minimal work and maximum reward. Every single marketer I know who makes a good amount of money through PPC works hard. so in addition to testing which is very important....KEEP testing and working hard :)
