Why .mobi domains are costly

    i just wondering that why .mobi domains are costlier than other domains.as i have checked the prices in some domain seller sites.and i have read prices in some forums also.

    I have no idea, I wish that they were cheaper as well before when I bought them, & also didn't like that they were min. of 2 year rego. Apparently now you can reg them for 1 year.

    cuz it's a new thing.
    there are some shitty extensions cost almost $1000 a year.
