Not everyone is blessed with a good marriage you know.

My reason is because I love the woman and I know Im ready for that kind of commitment. Also to pro-create little basoone

well, i think that depends on the person. some guys/girls dont wanna marry just because they dont, and they have their own reason for that.

 

No one forces anyone to get married.

If you wanna be a fit single 50 year old guy who eats beans over the kitchen sink; that's your right and privilege .

What single guy doesn't make a nuked meal and eat it over the sink during (insert sporting event) commercials

Anyhoo, I overheard my husband talking to one of his friends on the phone once who was having chick problems. He said that behind every good man is a good woman. For such a manly man to say that was pretty cool to hear. Especially since I'm the 'good woman'.

If someone honestly feels that way, then they've found the right one. If they hate the beatch and they can't wait to get rid of her, then...maybe it's time for a change.

 

I do that, except I'm a 23 year old married mother of 2...and I would insert an HGTV program instead of a sporting event

My take on it,

To prevent you from trying to play the field, we are 'advised' to take spouses (1 Corinthians 7:2), and become one and work together(1 Corinthians 7:4).

Once you are married, you are to have lots and lots of sex, only taking breaks to pray(1 Corinthians 7:5). I like this part, She might say she has a headache, but I say God told us for a healthy marriage we have to have sex and lots of it!!!!

Oh and get married for the sex!!!! (1 Corinthians 7:9)

OK, OK, before I get red rep'd into Heck, marriage is the exclusive relationship here on earth. We (men and women) are meant to be together, since life becomes much easier when you can team up and get things done, so you have free time.

marriage is simply a sign of committment... and legal responsiblity. learned that one the hard way.

 

I am almost 50 (well 47) and I eat better now than when I was married. There is a new invention called restaurant, you go there, pay them money and they serve you a meal that most women can not even dream to make.
If this is the best reason you can come up for marriage, I recommend to get a maid, it is much cheaper.

 

I'm not making an attempt either way. You can get married or cannot. I don't really care either way - free will and choice is a great thing. Some people are happy being single, more power to em. Some are dying to get married, more power to em.

I think its been shown more than a few times that married men/women are healthier and live longer than their single counter parts though.

Well, marriages has no function, you can have sex anyway.

 

studies show that once your spouse is hospitalized for a serious illness or dies, then you usually go right after.

So your damned if you do and damned if you don't...

I read somewhere that guys usually remarried way before women..so there much be something that you quys like about Having a spouse--What i like about having a spouse is that he done the cooking. Even now my Son does alot of cooking for his mother........
