Hi, now I'm building links for my new website.
I already had some links to that site, but when I check google webmaster, it says that there is 0 link to my site.
The pages that contain my links already indexed by google. When I check on yahoo, links to my site also 0.
Do you know what's the problem?
    Thanks

It takes time, have some patience and your links will show up in webmaster tools. Even if a page has been indexed, it is not necessary that you're link was there when the page was first crawled(blog comments especially).
Also, be sure your link is not nofollowed, as Yahoo shows nofollow links too.

you must make the link give traffic, then google will aware about it.
Place the link that easily clicked, so it will bring traffic

It takes at least a week to find them, than another few days to post on Webmaster Tools. What is the PR of the page of your backlink? If it is 0 or 1, it may take months.

Just keep building! They will find them, that's their job! Just wondering, how long ago did you place the links? Some active sites are crawled very frequently, others, not so much. Someone suggested it has to do with PR, it doesn't! PR is an often falsely represented as a good measure of how popular a site is, and it isn't, Google doesn't update it frequently, it can be faked, and the toolbar PR has nothing to with rankings directly.

If yahoo finds links that google doesn't and that I know are do follow, would it help to use social bookmarking on those backlinks to get them indexed on google a little faster?

You should have to wait and have patience. Search engine indexed your links sometimes a little bit longer. Don't worry still they indexed it soon. Just continue updating your site to be indexed easily. Make sure you have a unique content on it...

Your links are discovered whenever the spiders crawl the site. Your link will count as soon as the spiders crawl it so google knows its there.

Have you created a sitemap and submitted it to google webmaster tools? Google bots then visit your site to investigate...AND you get indexed, also get your RSS feed and post it on pingler.com this will distribute YOUR feed to 82 other sites get more traffic and more links.

Write 2 articles per week with 2 links in bio post to top 10 articles (make them unique articles PER post) these work like a dream.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the pingler.com. Just got an RSS feed for my site. Took about 2 month for google to pick up my site without an RSS feed or sitemap.
