why keywords are too expensive when I use google to promote cb?

I always meet high price keywords even they are not normal. Sometimes the keywords are not expensive, but several days the keywords price is jump high. I write letter to ask goolge company the reason. They say the landing wedsite is poor. Do you meet this situation? and how do you deal with it?

 

What kind of landing page are you using? Is it relevant to the keyword?

I think so. for example, I promote some e-books about dog trainning. I use the keywords as "dog train","dog trainning","dog traning" ,etc. And the product wedsite have words as the abov. but the keyword price is also high.

 

but I say, I have not build a wedsite for it. I use the advertiser's wedsite.

It sounds like you are linking directly from your ad to the merchant's site. This is what the google slap was all about. You must build your own landing pages that are relevant to your ad which is relevant to the keyword searched upon. If that is all true and your CTR is decent, you will pay less for keywords.

If you do not know what you are doing, you will lose money.

Yeah, this is a very good advice.

It's kind of hard to use direct linking now, unless the merchant's page is optimized for Adwords.
