A very interesting idea. The thing is, creating a product can be hard, though worth while. If you have the time to spend to create the product, make the pages, advertise, (or spam if you will ) then it can be the right path. But ClickBank makes anyone able to sell a product with minimal effort, while collecting a two week paycheck. Either way there can be profit or loss, but for the general user you might as well just go with ClickBank and call it a day.
Need your comments. I found a good ebook - personally I think it is better than the Rich Jerk's although lower priced- but when I registeresd as an affiliate I found the following problem, and I have not noticed this before with any other program. I got my affiliate link at clickbank, and this link carries my ID within the link -http://panikkarso.mannco.hop.clickbank.net/ However, when I proceed to buy from this link, the payment page on clickbank shows "affiliate = none" at the bottom. So I do not get credit for selling from this link. But if I type in the link -http://panikkarso.mannco.hop.clickbank.net/ into my browser, I am directed to my affiliate page set up by clickbank, the affiliate name is shown as mine. I would expect the first link also to take the visitor to a page that will credit me for the sale. Someone with more experience with clickbank tell me, is this how it always works? I mailed the owner of the ebook, she says it's my look-out, though in different words.
Your first post could be true, but I think that selling as affiliate is the main point of internet marketing. Having a product isn't quite much a marketing. But I agree that this way you can make more money.
