Hey guys I'm a website designer/developer but never really got into SEO. I recently recoded my website into Wordpress www.Concept7Studios.com and I noticed it's not indexing.

Can anyone tell me why? It's completely off from Yahoo but does show up on Google.

If its off from yahoo that means they havent indexed your site yet. I would say just wait. They wont get you much traffic anyways.

It's been up since Jan 2 of last year, it showed in all search engines. But a few days ago I recoded the site in Wordpress so resubmitted it to the search engines. And in my need a feedback post for my website someone said the site won't index so that's why I was wondering.

    Thanks for the replies.

Since you have recoded it, perhaps Yahoo need to re-index it. Give it a while and I am sure you would appear once again in Yahoo!

It appears your recoding has made your site appear new and fresh and hence the problem... I guess.

A major change like that is frown upon by Google, so it takes more time for google to reindex it .

To get your sites indexed as fast as possible,it is advicable to make full use of Google Webmaster Tools,e.g.submit your URL,submit your sitemap, etc. That wil do a lot good.

    User-agent: *
    Disallow:
    Sitemap: http:/yoursite.c/sitemap.xml

    You use webmaster tools?

I've recoded one my sites and it was only about 4 months old when I did the redesign and google had it indexed again in about a week.

It'll get indexed again. Don't worry.

Thanks for the replies again. I'm working on the sitemap now, can anyone explain how robots.txt works? I checked my FTP and don't have one. Spent so much time with development have no knowledge at all about SEO.
