I have adwords setup how it should be, put google isn't putting my ads anywhere. Is there something else I need to do? I have set a budget and everything.
it takes approx. 30 mins to get a search network campaign running, and about 12-24 hours to get a content network campaign up and running. Also - once it gets running, it takes 2-3 hours to get the stats, as google reporting is 2-3 hours behind real time.
Also - you need to make sure your bids are allowing you to actually show up. Best thing you can do is go to google.com and type in some of your keywords - and see if the ads are actually showing up now.
There are many factors on why this may happen.. You can have set your budget too low... clicks too low or just too irrelevant ads/landing page etc.. Google is a science and it's not just about adding 100 keywords and bid, though you will blow your wallet like that... Don't donate money to Google... (Pretty sure you're set up wrong from the start...) 1 Keyword per adgroup, 2 ads per adgroup and use 3-4 landing pages, or use dynamic ones... Get from $1 clicks to around $0.10 clicks instantly. - Chris
Not entirely true... While you may gain more control over your campaign and bidding it will not guarantee going from $1 to 0.10 per click. You may notice a 25% decrease in costs with the 1 to 1 campaign strategy, but thats mostly due to tighter restrictive bids on your keywords and more target text ads for each keyword. I agree performance will be better, but it will not decrease as much as stated above.
