Why Isn't 300-400 Hits A Day Good?

There is nothign wrong with your site. Your site is recently cached and well indexed so it will probably have a decent pr on the next update. As such, it is likely well spidered. Of those 300 - 400 hits / day most of them are probably spiders.

Time to focus on your on and off page SEO. You are half way. Hang in there.

Thanks for the support guys, I still can't believe people still think the site is a scam lol. We plan on getting Verisign, there should be no question after that right?

 

Whether or not you or anybody else thinks the site DOES NOT need a make over is irrevelent. The fact of the matter is out of the first page of this thread, a large majority of visitors feels that you do is all that it should take for you to do it.

Even if 10%, 20% 30%, 50%, 90% of the people like the site as it is, why not redesign it so 100% find it bareable. You dont have to listen to anybody here's advice, and especially not mine, but if so many people do not like the site, then I guarentee so many potenial buyers do not like the site either. And I for one will never buy from a site, VeriSign'ed or not, if they look unprofessional.

Some people don't consider it good because they can easily get that much in less time (experienced webmasters).

You need to invest a professional layout.
Os commerce (A popular free php driven Shop CMS which you may already be using I dunno) has many many professional templates you can buy at templatemonster.com

 

As everyone is saying a design is your best bet .

 

Put more sales text on the page also, you need to have SEO copywriting

 

The money you invest in your company is well worth it. Invest in a new design and don't think of it as wasted money. It is an investment.

Also, a lot of you that are reading the older post are not seeing what the site used to look like. The current design IS the redesign, so it doesn't matter what the design is because the site was redesigned and people STILL say it needs another design. Design I think is just opinion because their are people who say the design is good, and others say its not so good.

But there is always room for improvement, but I think theres more to just the design thats not bringing in lots of sales like selection, the inventory is nothing compared to the competitors.

The sites been redesigned once again, and now we are getting up to 600 hits per day!

We have upgraded the site with the up most optimization. Thanks again for everyones input!
