There are millions of people on YouTube at any given moment. I think that people want to connect and be seen is the reason for it's popularity. Why do you think it's so popular?
I think because the Youtube is owned by Google. Or maybe because there are really good video's there.
YouTube was one of the first sites to offer the public unlimited access to broadcasting themselves online for the entire world to see. Even before Google bought them they were a huge success, not only because everyone can be seen and heard on YouTube, but also because of the opportunity to make money through their partner programs. Additionally, YouTube now permits true HD videos to be uploaded (up to 1080p), and the embedding feature allows people to spread YouTube videos to any site they choose while sparing their own site's bandwidth. It's natural such a site would only gain popularity over time, it's a wonderful service, probably one of the best free services in the world.
I think people love youtube because anyone can send in videos and you can pretty much find anything on there that will interest you.
That is surely a very huge number and would be heavy on resources! I wonder how much does Youtube spend on updating/increasing its servers? Regards, RightMan
youtube is a free video site.They have good streaming servers to handle the large number of videos that had been stored and moreover, whatever you start that is new and innovative with mass pulling approach, you will get something like what youtube had got.
Because youtube give us almost all of visual documentation in this real world and also you can upload your own video tutorial to teach your students and or your customer...
