It doesn't have anything to do with you being a pharmacy, just being pharmaceutical related.

but it's not pharmaceutical related. this is a massive, MASSIVE class action lawsuit brewing that just happens to be in the pharmaceutical industry. the fact that it's a drug is a moot point. it would be the same thing if i promoted lawywers during a Disney Class Action suit.

You are joking, right? You think that a Vioxx lawsuit has nothing to do with the pharmaceutical industry?

it's a lawsuit against a drug maker, but my Ad;s goal is to match lawyers to those that may have suffered at Merck's negligence. This is simply matching lawyers to plaintiffs. the fact that it surrounds a bum drug is moot. i'm not selling drugs. i'm trying to build a site where lawyers cand find potential clients.

The problem is that as soon as someone sees the word "Vioxx" the first thing that pops in your mind is "pharmacy". Most webmasters don't want to have any ad on their site that has the word Vioxx in it.

    my ad is Vioxx Lawyer.

it's the same as if Ford recalls a line of trucks. it's negligence, and it just happens to be a drug as the product.

Actually it's not moot because it makes it pharmaceutical related.

I never thought you were trying sell drugs. The ad network disallows pharmaceutical related ads/sites (this could be informational sites about side affects of aspirin, a Vioxx lawyer *or* an actual pharmacy).

Right, and if the ad network disallowed automotive related ads/sites, that ad would not be allowed in either.

well great, when another ad i submitted 'VioXX Lawyer' was accepted, i went and bought a domain, built the site and got ready to add it to the network. so i guess i just wasted an entire day of creating a site that matches lawyers to those who were screwed by Merck. whatever.

If someone approved a Vioxx ad, it was a mistake.

I just went and looked at your site, and I don't see anywhere where lawyers can find clients. It looks more like a "made for AdSense" site to me.

    a) An entire day, now I'm impressed - I usually give my sites just a few minutes

    b) If an entire day is spent on the website, of course there is no time to promote it in any other way than with co-op ads

that's not the point. yes, the lawsuit is against a pharm company. my site was going to try to match up lawyers with plaintiffs. yes it was adsense now, because it 12 hours old. i wanted to work on it and make calls to law firms and try to sell leads.

My point was that a site worth building should not rely on co-op for marketing. There are other ways to market your site and as co-op TOS don't allow pharma related, your stuck with them.

Not much to complain about, accept and move on. Best of luck with the site.

a site that caters to criminal justice attorneys.. is that related to 'crime'? my site caters to people interested in the Vioxx lawsuit - lawyers and plaintiffs.

fine. you win. done. makes no sense at all, but whatever.
